The design concept for this private residence revolves around tactile warmth, functional zoning, & a refined organic color story.
We have emphasized a soft, nature-inspired palette—anchored by olive greens, warm woods, and textured linens—to create a home that feels intimately connected to the seasons. By integrating dedicated lifestyle spaces, from a tranquil home office to a purposefully designed nursery, the architecture supports the diverse rhythms of modern family life while maintaining a cohesive, high-design aesthetic.
This Residence was designed as a departure from the "sterile" modernism of the past decade, opting instead for a home that breathes. The architectural narrative is one of quiet sophistication, where the transition from the bold, dark-clad exterior to the sun-drenched, airy interiors provides a sense of arrival and decompression. Every room was treated as a bespoke volume; the kitchen utilizes slab-front oak cabinetry to create a clean culinary stage, while the "Den" and "Olive Bedroom" leverage deeper tones to offer a sense of enclosure and repose.
A key focus of the project was the elevation of utilitarian spaces. We reimagined the laundry room and home office not as secondary areas, but as high-design environments that maintain the home's material integrity. Outside, the dual-level deck seating serves as an extension of the living room, utilizing integrated fire features and sculptural furniture to create an outdoor "room" that is functional year-round. The result is a residence that balances precision with personality.
