We have emphasized a sophisticated interplay of deep charcoal accents and light masonry to create a facade that is both commanding and graceful. By integrating soaring gables with expansive, dark-framed glazing, the architecture achieves a sense of airy verticality that is balanced by the grounded, organic textures of the interior stone and timber.
721 Corlies Avenue was designed to push the boundaries of the modern residential experience, moving beyond mere functionality into the realm of sculptural living. The architectural narrative is driven by light—specifically, how it interacts with the home’s varying volumes. From the dramatic, high-ceilinged lobby to the more intimate, "shadow-play" environments of the attic leisure suites, every space is curated to evoke a specific emotional response.
The interior program is a masterclass in tonal layering. We utilized a rich palette of smoked oak, honed marble, and textured plaster to create a series of interconnected galleries rather than traditional rooms. Whether it is the sunken pool lounge that reflects the home’s geometric strength or the expansive dining area framed by floor-to-ceiling glass, 721 Corlies Avenue stands as a testament to the power of a restrained, high-contrast material palette.
