The design concept for this project revolves around creating a harmonious blend of traditional silhouettes, modern organic textures, & sophisticated geometry.
We will emphasize clean lines, a muted tonal palette, and bespoke architectural detailing to achieve an elevated yet uncluttered aesthetic. To add warmth and character, we’ve incorporated rhythmic wood slating, natural marble surfaces, and expansive glazing that invites the landscape inward.
The challenge for 719 Corlies Avenue was to reinterpret the classic shingle-style home through a contemporary lens. By stripping away traditional ornamentation and focusing on material integrity, we created a structure that feels both grounded and light. The exterior is defined by the interplay between textured cedar shingles and the precision of black metal roofing, creating a facade that shifts with the natural light throughout the day.
Inside, the narrative continues with a focus on spatial flow and tactile luxury. Each room is designed to be a sensory experience—from the rhythmic warmth of the white oak ceilings in the primary suite to the sculptural elegance of the marble-clad kitchen. The result is a home that functions as a serene sanctuary while maintaining a bold, architectural presence.
